01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember things like preferences and analytics state between page loads. We treat related technologies (local storage, pixels, similar) as cookies for the purposes of this policy.
02Categories we use
We use two categories of cookie, described below.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work. These do not need your consent and you cannot switch them off in our cookie controls. They include things like remembering that you have already dismissed the cookie banner.
Analytics
Help us understand how people use the site in aggregate, so we can improve it. These are set only with your consent. You can change your mind at any time using the link in the footer.
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not run remarketing or ad-retargeting pixels. We do not sell your personal information.
03The cookies in full
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
interact_consent |
Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie preference | 12 months |
interact_read_state |
Strictly necessary | Stores your Position answers on your device so you can revisit your result | Session |
_ga |
Analytics | Google Analytics 4. Tells returning visits apart so usage can be counted | 2 years |
_ga_NN0WYS82LZ |
Analytics | Google Analytics 4. Keeps session state for this site | 2 years |
04Third-party cookies
Some pages embed third-party content (for example, an embedded video or a social link). Those providers may set their own cookies when the content loads. We only use embeds where the third party has a privacy and cookie posture compatible with ours.
05How to control them
- Adjust your analytics consent using the footer link. You can change it at any time
- Block or delete cookies via your browser settings (every major browser supports this)
- Use private/incognito mode for a session that doesn't carry cookies between visits
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working as intended. For example, your Position result.
06Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our cookie use changes. The effective date at the top will move when it does.
